A little hidden gem of a bar within Sydney, with gorgeous interior decor and dim lighting for a nice evening. A huge shoutout to the bartender Tommy, who truly went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.On arrival you’re provided popcorn and water. I first ordered a glass of red (Henschke Five Shillings) and the mushroom tempura slider. Both were divine.I ended up being the only one in the bar for a period during the evening, as it was raining. Tommy came to ask if I wanted another glass of red. As it was a quiet evening, Tommy offered a free wine tasting that helped me discover my favourite red on offer, the Te Mata Estate Awatea Vineyard Cab/Merlot (100% recommend for a smooth red). Of course I had to have a glass, paired with the second slider on the menu with chicken.The whole experience was fabulous as a solo diner and the food, service and drinks menu left nothing to be desired. Only note for guests is to be aware the food menu is bar food only, not significant meals.
